In the 1881 and 1891 censuses Albert was living with his parents in Kingston

In 1901, aged 24, he was lodging in a house in Fulham and described as a Librarian. His brother Alfred was also lodging there.

In 1908, he married Jeanie Bird. [See the marriage certificate.]

On 20th August, 1909, he emigrated to New Zealand with his new wife bound for Wellington.
He is described as a librarian.
