Three thousand one hundred pds Navy four per cent   £3100
One hundred pds Harrow Road Turnpike Bond   £100
One hundred pounds Albion Life and Fire Insurance Office   £100
Total seven thousand three hundred   £7300

The interest of the £3100 in the Navy 5 per cent I leave to my wife for and during her natural life.
At her death the produce of the said sum to be equally divided amongst such of my children as may then to be living.
The remaining sum of four thousand two hundred pounds £4200 to be disposed of as follows:

One thousand pounds to be paid to each of my daughters   £2000
The remaining £2200 to be equally divided amongst my four sons   £2200
£4200

Should any of my children die before they become of age or die without issue their respective proportions to be equally divided amongst the survivors.
My furniture and wine to be the property of my wife.
The piano forte to belong equally to my two daughters whilst unmarried. Should either of them marry it is to remain the property of the unmarried daughter. Should they separate while unmarried it may be sold or valued and that amount of such sale or value to be equally divided between them.
The Violoncello may be sold.
The flute to belong to Charles.
It is be clearly understood that in appropriating the interest of the sum of £3100 in the Navy 5 per cent for the use of my wife during her natural life it bars all claim she might otherwise have on my property and it is also to be understood that in leaving the interest of the aforesaid sum of £3100 for and during her natural life it is on condition that she remains a widow. In the event of her again marrying the said sum of £3100 to be then divided amongst my surviving children.

This is my last and only will and testament written with my own hand at Belle View, Ixelles near Brussels, this fifteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and eighteen. {signed Sam'l Drewry}
