"Philomena wasa bit of an academic prodigy, took her exams at an earlier age than usual", went to Seafield Convent and later became headmistress of a school in London.

Alice Mary died on 4th January 1996, aged 92, and was buried in Makersfield - St. Thomas, Lancaster, England.
